Annie Walters-Rogeri
Annie Walters, right, with son Owen and her mother, Linda Walters.
Annie Waters founded AMW Stables in 2016 after beginning her professional riding career at just 18 years old. Since then, she has focused on developing both horses and riders through thoughtful training, strong horsemanship, and a personalized approach built around long-term growth and success.
At AMW Stables, the foundation of great riding starts with understanding the horse. Annie believes in creating confident, knowledgeable riders by emphasizing patience, consistency, communication, and proper care both in and out of the ring.
The horses at AMW are cared for with a focus on health, happiness, and quality of life. With ample turnout, individualized care, and a supportive environment, horses are given the opportunity to thrive naturally, which translates directly into better performance and stronger partnerships with their riders.
Over the years, Annie has developed and coached numerous successful horses and riders, including champions and winners in the hunter, equitation, pony, children’s, adult, green hunter, and USHJA International Hunter Derby divisions. Today, AMW Stables continues to provide a welcoming, professional environment for riders of all ages and experience levels to learn, grow, and achieve their goals.
