Triumphs At Tryon Fall

Kingstown and Sarasen Jablon

The beautiful fall weather at the Tryon International Equestrian Center made for a great show for AMW Stables, and the blue skies matched the blue ribbons on October 17-22 in Mill Spring, North Carolina.

Caroline Oliverio and Motown won three of the five Long Stirrup classes to earn the championship. They were also second in the Long Stirrup Hunter Challenge to conclude a great week.

Christine Jablon and Winston captured the reserve championship in the Adult Amateur, 36-49, section with a first and second over fences and a win under saddle. Winston was also champion in the Foothills Hunters with trainer Annie Walters aboard.

Sarasen Jablon and Kingstown were the NAL/WIHS Children's Hunter Classic winners with scores of 87 and 86! Sarasen also rode King to the top of the THIS Children’s Medal and placed third in the SCHJA Governor’s Cup.

Hadley Rodwell and Angelica won a class in the 11 and under Equitation, and they also had great ribbons in the Small/Medium Pony Hunters with a fourth and a fifth.

Brooke Farfone and Knee Deep jumped to ribbons in the 3'6” Junior Hunters, with a highlight being a great Handy trip where they placed second. Brooke was also fourth in the SCHJA Governor’s Cup and won the 15-17 Equitation over fences class.

Anders Paulson and Balou De Nous are moving their way up and jumping some great clear rounds in the 1.10m jumpers. A highlight was their double-clear performance in the NAL/WIHS Adult Jumper Classic where they picked up fifth.

Kristin Paulson and Emontros After Party jumped their way up to the .90m Jumpers this week and put in some solid rounds.
