A Wet Tryon Welcome 3

Annie Walters and Kingstown

Despite the challenging conditions, the AMW Stables team had great fun and results during the Tryon Welcome 3, held April 5-8 in Mill Spring, North Carolina.

Hadley Rodwell and Angelica won two over fences classes on their way to the Small/Medium Green Pony Hunter reserve championship. Hadley also picked up excellent ribbons in the equitation, including third in the M&S USEF Pony Medal.

Sarasen Jablon and Crocodile Rock also earned a reserve championship, with top placings in the Large Pony Hunters. Sarasen also placed second in the WIHS Pony Equitation with a great round.

Christine Jablon added more tricolors to the family collection when she guided Winston to the Low Adult Hunter championship champion with a clean sweep of the section. The pair went on to also win the Tryon Low Adult Medal.

Alison Segura and Zydegeaux made their debut show with AMW a winning one. The pair placed first in two .80m classes and also earned excellent ribbons in the .90m Non-Pro Jumpers.

Lulu Hardie and Quintender had wonderful rounds at their first show together in the Children’s Hunters and also placed seventh in the SCHJA Governors Cup. Quinn was also reserve champion in the USHJA 2’9” section with Annie Walters aboard.

Grace Beall and Straight Shooter had a great first show together in the Low Adult Hunters, earning ribbons along the way as they established their partnership.

Catherine Clark and and CRF Caramellow continued their success in the Long Stirrup section. To reward their hard work together, they picked up a blue over fences and other top ribbons for a great show.

Hardie Horses LLC’s Cassius Del Carribe Z won three out of four over fences classes in the 3’/3’3” Green Hunter section for the championship title and the win in the USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Stake. “This is the best 4-year-old I've had the privilege of sitting on,” said trainer Annie Walters. “Thank you to his owners, Hardie Horses LLC for the opportunity to bring this young horse along. And another big thanks to Jordan Lubow for finding this horse for us!

Kingstown, owned by Sarasen Jablon, won four of the five classes in the 3'6”/3'9” Green Hunters and was also named champion and the winner of the 3'6” Green Hunter Incentive.
