A Great Time at the Carolina Classic

AMW Stables, LLC had a great time at the Carolina Classic Horse Show at Highfields, from February 16-19. From rain to cold to sunshine, we saw all seasons in four days. Nevertheless, we had a bunch of good riding and great ponies and horses who persevered!

Hardie Horses LLC’s Cassius Del Caribe Z was a star in the 3’ Green Hunters with Annie Walters. The pair earned the division championship and also topped the USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Stake with a score of 84. They also placed fifth in the USHJA National Hunter Derby.

Painted Horse LLC’s On Point earned great ribbons in the 3’3”/3’6” Combined Green Hunter division, including seconds and thirds over fences and under saddle.

HTS Mile High Club and McClaine Cobb earned the Low Children’s/Adult Hunter reserve championship with ribbon in every class, including a first and second over fences and second under saddle.

Over in the pony ring, Hadley Rodwell and Angelica continued their stellar performances in the Green Ponies with some of their best rounds to date. They picked up top ribbons in the combined division, including a second over fences.

Caroline Oliverio and Thinking Out Loud added more ribbons to their collection from the Children’s Ponies, with solid performances throughout the weekend.

CRF Caramellow and Catherine Clark wore red throughout the weekend, taking a string of seconds in the Long Stirrup Hunters with consistent performances.

AMW Stables LLC’s Kapucino De Fremis topped the .90m Open Jumpers with a double clear round, adding yet another jumper win to his resume.
